About Asante

Asante is a new family of fluorescent ion indicator dyes that offer researchers maximum flexibility, reliability and ease of use.

Asante's revolutionary compound combines the best qualities of UV and non-UV dyes with new features that make it ideal for a wide range of research and testing:

• Ca and Na Monitoring: Asante is available for both Calcium and Sodium monitoring. Asante Ca Red is available in both an AM and K+SALT formula.
• 488nm Excitation: Asante responds to light emitted by a standard 488nm Argon Laser.
• Ratiometric: Asante responds to excitation with dual emissions at 525nm and 650nm.
• Visible Spectrum: Emits in the visible spectrum (green and red), eliminating the need for UV equipment.
• Red Spectrum: Shifting farther into the visible spectrum reduces interference from within the cell.
• Won't Damage Cells: Asante allows for in vivo testing without damaging cells like UV testing.
• Leakage Resistant: Leakage resistant qualities allow for longer testing closer to the cell wall.
